
Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-Park
Nyandungu Eco-Park is Rwanda’s first restored urban wetland, spanning 121 hectares with 48 more under restoration. Located just 11 km from Kigali city center and 10 minutes from the airport, it features over 10 km of walking and cycling trails, botanical and medicinal gardens, ponds, birdwatching, and dining options. Blending conservation, leisure, and eco-tourism, it is also an ideal stopover on the way to Akagera National Park for a Big Five safari.
