COVID-19: Rwanda's preparedness and response

6th Women Deliver Conference 2023

WOMEN DELIVER 2023 CONFERENCE: SPACES, SOLIDARITY, AND SOLUTIONS.

The Women Deliver 2023 Conference (WD2023) will take place in-person in Kigali, Rwanda, as well as virtually, from 17-20 July 2023.

Women Deliver convenings catalyze conversations with stakeholders from around the world, breaking barriers, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities to advance gender equality, including sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), to improve the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women, in all their intersecting identities.

WD2023 will be the world’s largest conference on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women in the 21st century.

As one of the largest multi-sectoral convenings to advance gender equality, WD2023 will convene 6,000 people in Kigali and 200,000+ people online through the virtual Conference and six-month Global Dialogue leading up to the Conference.
WD2023 will enable inclusive and co-created spaces that foster solidarity for sustainable solutions on gender equality.

WD2023’S OBJECTIVES:

1. Catalyze Collective Action to Advance Gender Equality
2. Hold Leaders Accountable
3. Empower the Feminist Movement
4. Reframe Who Leads
5. Create Space

The vision, theme, and objectives of the Conference were selected by the WD2023 Advisory Group, in consultation with over 5,000 advocates — spanning 166 countries, generations, and sectors — who participated in design sprints and Women Deliver’s Global Community Consultation..
